M...Hi, found your blog through Barbara's blog. Mesa Verde is a great place. I am working for Aramark @ Mesa Verde, I do not work in the park, I am in the accounting office, but I can take the employee bus into the park as often as I want. I have hiked around Spruce Tree several times and I took the ranger guided tour of Long House. The Knife Edge Trail hike that starts in Morefield Campground is an awesome hike, up at cloud level, and overlooking Mancos Valley. Its an easy one mile out and one mile back hike with very little elevation gain.Terihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01019364333876469130noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9062337474734435253.post-51811373387263213342012-07-11T16:39:36.990-07:002012-07-11T16:39:36.990-07:00GORGEOUS photos!

Fall is great there. Such a spiritual feel.

Congratulations on being on the roof. I was up there myself today sweeping off the storm debris and the water off the slide toppers. It's a lot different when the roof is wet than when it is dry. I like to be in my bare feet in all cases so I can really feel the roof.Sherryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00328866430156879312noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9062337474734435253.post-86618362316392785622012-07-11T08:31:33.177-07:002012-07-11T08:31:33.177-07:00Two of my friends are seasonal rangers at the park...Two of my friends are seasonal rangers at the park, but I guess you didn't get them for one of the tours. Sounds like a fun day, next time I'm there I'd love to see the ruins in person.

Congratulations on getting on the roof, and you have photos to prove it.
