We received an email and photo from the family of Z the cat, the one that Jim found the home for while we were staying at Zion River Resort. Here is what it said:
“We thought you would enjoy knowing that "Z" has settled in well and has realized that he was a Christmas miracle for one little girl! :) Well actually, a whole family!”
I can’t think of a better Christmas gift! We’re so happy it all worked out.
Nice! Thanks so much for sharing this story. Merry Christmas to you and your family.

ReplyDeleteThat's wonderful. Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteYou're in my favorite place in the US. We used to go yearly at Thanksgiving, but the friends we would join have moved to the east coast, so we didn't go this year. We're thinking in the spring maybe. Have you ridden the Sport track down in the competition trails. It's the SHORT one if the two trails, I don't remember the mileage, but it's very doable. It's a fun trail with lots of swoopy bits. The cat is beautiful. You guys did a good thing there.
ReplyDeleteHaven't done that trail yet and they had it closed a couple of days ago for some reason. We plan on trying it though.

Merry Christmas to both of you! We enjoy your blog. Miss seeing you at Bentsen Palms.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy all your bog posts. Merry Christmas to the both of you. We miss you at Bentsen this year.
ReplyDeleteGlad to see kitty is happy in her new home. Hope everyone has a happy holiday season and a wonderful new year.
ReplyDeleteMerry belated Christmas to you both. I enjoy reading of you love for cats. It's a love/not so much love sometimes for me and my Siamese. He like to come in and out a lot at night, and I like to sleep. I'm thinking earplugs or obedience school. (for me)
ReplyDeleteGlad you both are well, we have a lot of things to process that I will most definitely look back on and laugh about in a few years. I'm looking forward to doing something else for a "living".
I'm glad you got mountain bikes. I bought a cross bike, which I sold recently because I didn't ride it that much. The UWF trails are just far enough down the road that I rarely rode there, and it is not a good bike for the road at all. I think a front suspension is key if you get on any dirt or uneven surface. At least for me, and I'm not concerned with speed in the woods, nor do I intentionally get airborne. It looks like a lot of fun. I believe Sunaree will really enjoy it also.
The sunsets are extraordinary! Keep up the great photography.
