Changing Skies

It is fascinating to watch the clouds over the mountains of Colorado.

Something about this landscape makes me want to learn how to paint.

It’s like looking at a mural, this doesn’t even look real.

It will be hard to leave….

  2. Like you, I really love the clouds in Colorado. New Mexico has good ones, too.

  3. I completely agree with you...we are finding it extremely difficult to NOT come back next year....the folks we work with are great and the area fantastic! But, the idea is to travel, and that is what we will do!!

  4. "...hard to leave", eh? That raises an interesting question: why ARE you abandoning paradise for south Texas (yuk!)?

And I know a gal who will give you a couple watercolor lessons next time you're in Lovely Ouray... and she's a hiker too :))

  6. Some of my cloud photos are my favorites. Yours are beautiful! When we have these huge skies we get to really see the cloud formations as they move and change. Probably why painters got started - just had to capture the beauty.

Hey, as I'm typing this your Thursday post is under my comment window and I just noticed the huge rainbow in the photo. I didn't see it when I read that post. That was a great rainbow! :)
